US Trade Representative Rob Portman made a stop in Burkina Faso in Africa two weeks ago on his way to Asia for meetings on trade policy reforms and the Doha Round negotiations. 롭 포트먼 미국 무역 대표부는 2 주 전 아프리카에서 아시아로가는 도중에 무역 정책 개혁과 도하 라운드 협상에 회의 부르 키 나 파소에서 정지했다. His purpose was to announce a $7 million West Africa Cotton Improvement Program aimed at cotton production and marketing in Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali and Senegal. 그의 목적은 정비 면이랑 칠백만달러 서부 아프리카 면화 생산과 마케팅 프로그램 베냉, 부르 키 나 파소, 차드, 말리와 세네갈에 목표를 발표했다. The program is part of an ongoing effort begun two years ago after the Cancun, Mexico WTO Ministerial meeting stalled partly over West African nations’ concerns about subsidizes paid to cotton producers in developed countries. 이 프로그램은 지속적인 노력을 2 년 전 멕시코 칸쿤에서 WTO 각료회의 서부 아프리카 나라들의 우려에 대해 선진국에서 목화를 제작자에게 지불 조성 멈춘 후에 시작 부분 이상의 일환입니다.

The visit by President Bush later this week to China and speeches earlier this week by US Trade Representative Rob Portman have increased attention on the role of China in the WTO trade policy negotiations. 부시 대통령의 이번 방문은 나중에 중국과 롭 포트먼 미 무역 대표부 대표의 연설이 1 주일에 의해 이번 WTO의 무역 정책 협상에서 중국의 역할에 관심이 증가하고있다. In late October the EU offered a second comprehensive proposal for WTO trade policy reforms. 10 월 하순에서 EU는 WTO에 포괄적인 무역 정책 개혁을위한 두 번째 제안했다.
