What the writer has missed is the reality that people cannot make informed choices in Korea regarding beef. Ideally it would be good to leave the decision to consumers but the real world methods of selling and distributing meat in Korea is that consumers cannot trust the country of origin the meats and meat products they buy. This is the key reason the protests still continue. They are trying to protect themselves the only way offered to them.
